Successor to the HS101, LG recently unveiled the HS102 DLP mobile entertainment projector. The DLP projector can show images up to 60-inches in size with 800×600 (SVGA) pixels resolution and screen brightness of 49cd/㎡, on a projection distance of 1.6 meters.
Its LED lamp lasts 30,000 hours and is utilized in an ultra-fast pulsing action to prevent motion blur. The LG HS102 projector is also truly mobile since it comes with a small external battery that can power the device in two hours. Two hours of uninterrupted watching is possible because the HS102 consumes less energy than comparable projectors (on the same vein, the HS102 is mercury-free). Other than the battery, mobility is further enhanced by built-in speakers and DiVX compatibility. The LG HS102 projector is available in South Korea for now for approximately US$555.
