The LG KS500 seems like it’s going to be one of LG’s more ho-hum phones, but all the same, it doesn’t look like it’s particularly lacking in important features either. The LG KS500 is a slider phone with a QVGA display and a decent 3 megapixel camera.
GSMArena points out that unlike the old rumors about the handset, it’s not a smartphone but an ordinary mobile phone – a tri-band GSM dual-band UMTS/HSDPA phone to be exact. While the camera features decent megapixel spec (for a low to mid end phone at least), it unfortunately features fixed focus. Built-in memory is 100MB with an expandable microSD card slot for up to 8GB cards. There’s even a-GPS support that could be used with Yahoo! Go maps. The Vodafone-branded LG KS500 also features an optical touchpad to help with the navigation.
