Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault High-Speed USB Flash Drive

Lexar announced the availability of the Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault portable storage. The Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault is a high-speed USB flash drive featuring 256-bit AES encryption.

With the sheer number of similar products available, this one stands out with its FIPS validation. The FIPS 140-2 certification is a testing standard achieved for any type of hardware used by the US Military. The Solo Vault has idle time-out feature and has a password size of 32 bytes. Even if the files in the flash drive are legitimately transferred elsewhere, they cannot be accessed without the password. The Lexar JumpDrive Solo Vault USB flash drive is available in 4GB capacity (with 30MB/s read speed and 21MB/s write speed) and 2GB capacity (with 24MB/s read speed and 18MB/s write speed).
