iTunes Blocked in China?

It sucks to be an iPod-toting-music-lover in China at the moment. According to AustralianIT, Apple is investigating why access to iTunes appeared to be blocked for users in China after a pro-Tibet album became a hit on the online music store.

Is anyone going to hold China to account on the promises it made that hosting the Olympics would improve human rights in China?

“By allowing Beijing to host the Games you will help in the development of human rights,” that was said by Liu Jingmin, vice-president of the Beijing Olympic Bid Committee, in 2001.

And that hasn’t happened.
