iPrimus announced that it will be launching the iPrimus Speedster mobile broadband this September. The standard plan offered by iPrimus is the 6GB monthly plan which is priced at AU$39.95 per month which comes with a free modem on a 24-month plan.
For 3G devices, speeds promised range from 200Kbps to 384Kbps, 384Kbps to 3.6Mbps for HSDPA devices, and for 2G devices, speeds will be from 20Kbps to 40Kbps. The smaller 1GB data plan costs $29.95 per month, while the larger 12GB plan goes for $79.95 monthly. What’s great about this service is that you won’t suddenly be served with a bill that goes through the roof at the end of the month due to excess charges. Once you’ve finished your allotted data plan, the connection would be rate shaped until the start of the next billing period. But, if you’re in dire need of some fast connection and you’re through with your data, you can always buy more using your account toolbox. At least you’re in charge of how much you’d be spending on mobile broadband monthly. The iPrimus Speedster plans would be bundled with Huawei E220 modems.
