Iomega came out with a 1TB external hard drive called Super eGo which takes on the form factor of its successful line of eGo external drives—so yes, just like the leather bound eGo drive we featured earlier, this still looks like a liquor flask (Where’s me rum? Arrr!)
However, unlike the eGo drives which measure 2.5-inches, the Super eGo uses 3.5-inch desktop hard drives. The external HDD has USB 2.0 connectivity and is powered by an Energy Star qualified adapter. Iomega’s Super eGo external hard drive is available in midnight blue, jet black, and ruby red for US$269.95. After eGo and Super eGo, I wonder if anyone in Iomega’s thinking of naming any of their upcoming products, “id.†Just curious.
