
Internet Explorer 8 Beta is now ready for download. (For those unfamiliar with the term “beta” it is given to software that is not officially complete and generally released for the purposes of testing / ironing out bugs.) Finally this version will conform to web standards of presentation which means that web developers won’t have to implement tricks to get websites working for both Internet Explorer 6 & Firefox - this is me!
Microsoft have provided a IE8 Readiness Toolkit below to prepare us all for what is ahead. Here’s to saving us Webbies what could be hours a year of reworking and hair-pulling.
