G’day Andrew, haha I would recommend that you give at least 2-3 weeks. You’ll amazed what could go possibly go wrong in that timeframe. However from what I hear this is one of the best iMates released to date.

I’m also looking to pick one up and have also been told they’ll be available sometime next week (to buy outright). Then it’s a question of waiting a month or so to see how they hold up, or being one of the first in the line. My guess is it’ll get the better of me and I’ll be getting it asap.

Hey all, I’ve been a user of MS powered device and phones since their inception. I’m a long time user of the seemingly massive JasJar…had the jasjam for a bit and the HTC TyTN and many many many others - im one of those gadget freaks who has a new phone every few months. This is my new replacement device. Yes I too can confirm that a few of the telstra shops in Melbourne have told me that some time either next week or at most the next 2 weeks - after all they are advertising it in many magazines (APC). I’ll get one the instant its purchasable!
