iDive 300 For Some Underwater iPod Listening

H2O Audio’s iDive 300 was designed for divers who spend hours in boredom during decompression. That’s not to say you can’t use it, especially if you have predilection for water sports or just plain want to try some underwater water listening (hey, why not?)

The iDive 300 is a case made of durable polycarbonate that can house both the iPod and the iPhone up to 300 feet in depth. It has an integrated microprocessor that lets you control the device inside (using either click wheel or touch screen controls) via the case’s buttons. And, since you can’t exactly bring ordinary headphones down there, it comes with Over the Ear Speakers that can be either placed under the hood or attached to a mask strap.

50 Greatest Travel Gadgets of 2008: The Good, the Bad and the … Sweet Jesus, WTF is That? Says, in 1-7-2009 at 03:08:52

[...] Originally marketed to diver’s battling countless hours of boredom in a decompression chamber, it’s also touted as “waterproof down to 300ft/90m underwater”. As a diver myself, I can honestly say that the last thing I want to be thinking about at 150 feet underwater is remembering the words to China Girl. (Via) [...]
