Chinese phone manufacturer Huwei announced their development of Android phones to be released by 2009. Huwei develops handsets that can be released as telco-branded handsets, which means the Google phones they develop could be licensed by any telco around the globe.
According to Huwei, Australia-based telecommunication companies are free to license the company’s Android phones to be released by the third quarter of 2009. That means there could be an influx of Android phones next year, what with the release of the Kogan Agora also imminent. Are you excited for a Google Android handset or do you think it’s too early to jump in?
