Huawei has unveiled its newest gadget for mobile broadband technology—the Huawei E180 USB Stick. The device is able to connect to a range of network technologies including HSPA/UMTS and GSM/GPRS/EDGE. It’s a USB stick with a swiveling form factor claiming to hold the title of the thinnest HSPA USB stick at just 10mm thick.
The Huawei E180 USB Stick can handle upload speeds of up to 5.76Mbps and download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. The gadget is (plug and play) compatible with Windows (2000, XP, and Vista) and Mac OS X platforms, and sports a rotatable USB connector to eliminate the need for a cap. Best of all, the Huawei E180 USB Stick rocks a USB flash drive capability by utilizing its integrated 8GB microSD card slot. It’ll first be available this mid-June in North America, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe, and South Africa.
