HTC TyTN II 6.1 Performance Update Out Soon

Sorry to disappoint you, but the HTC TyTN II 6.1 performance update isn’t officially out yet. For some reason though, Modaco seems to already have it. Bearing the lengthy filename “RUU_Kaiser_HTC_WWE_3.28.405.0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship.exe,” it’s due to be legally available in the next few days.

The performance adds Windows Mobile 6.1 along with a few extras onto HTC TyTN II devices. If you’re using this particular HTC handset, you can now get to enjoy threaded SMS and even a “Get Started” wizard that comes along with the platform update. There’s also battery life, general performance, and video performance updates, although Modaco claims no improvement in video performance could be seen at all.
