HTC Touch Pro Lands on 3 Australia

Yep, the HTC Touch Pro gets a carrier in Australia and Hutchinson’s 3 Mobile is sticking its proverbial tongue out at Apple for bypassing them as an iPhone carrier. The HTC Touch Pro will be available to 3 starting on the last week of September and would be exclusive to the telco until mid-October.

The HTC Touch Pro, of course, is basically the Touch Diamond attached with a QWERTY keyboard and boasts an improved 288MB RAM. The HTC Touch Pro will cost $1,099 upfront. Purchased on a $69 2-year contract though, the Touch Pro costs $22 per month. There’s no news of which carriers, if any, would get the HTC Touch Pro after the exclusivity period on 3 expires.
