A few days ago, the existence of a GSM/WiMAX phone somewhere on earth was confirmed in Russia, and the rest of the world looked on in envy. The HTC MAX 4G is remarkably similar looking for the HTC Touch HD, save the GSM and WiMAX connectivity, that is.
On the video above, the elusive HTC MAX 4G gets compared to the HTC Touch HD at the WiMAX Mobile Phone HTC Quartz Presentation that took place in Russia. The company the phone is currently offered through is called Yota Mobile WiMAX network; it will support the Yota Video network. As mentioned, the phone has a 3.8-inch 800×480 touch screen display and the capability to display a whopping nine channels at once.
