Overshadowed by the introduction of the company’s more high-profile handset, the HTC Touch Diamond, is the introduction of the low-end entry-level HTC P3400i PDA phone. Since it’s meant for the entry-level market, the handset sports a simple design and of course, an affordable price tag.
The HTC P3400i PDA phone has a 2.8-inch high-resolution color screen and a 2 megapixel CMOS camera. It runs on Windows Mobile 6 Professional and includes applications for music, videos, email, Office programs, and Windows Live Messenger. The handset is also installed with HTC Home which gives users instant access to frequently-used applications. The HTC P3400i will be available this end of May and is expected to retail at approximately US$488.
