An improved version of the old Duo-i, Boston Acoustics announces the launch of the new Horizon i-DS2 iPod speaker system. Cleaning up quite well, the device is a compact stereo system compatible with all Apple iPod models.
The 60-watt Horizon i-DS2 system measures 5 ½” x 12 ¾” x 5 13/16”and features a high-gloss body and front grille which could either be black or white, although you can customize your speaker’s look through Boston Acoustics’ P.O.P. design concept. The P.O.P. concept lets consumers choose among different colors for the front grille. When it comes to sound quality, there’s an acoustically tuned chamber integrated onto the system to enhance bass response. Moreover, you can use its built-in video output to show images and videos on TV screens. Other than the iPod, the speaker could connect to other media players through an auxiliary input. The stereo speaker which comes with a mini-remote is now available for $179.99.
