Hop-on, maker of phones for developing nations as well as pioneer of that disposable phone I’m sure you’ve heard of one time or another, promises something new in the months to come. According to the company’s press release, Hop-on is coming up with its own Google Android-based phone.
The Hop-on phone that will run on Google Android will be presented during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next year, January 2009. And, since Hop-on is known for very affordable phones, the Google Android Hop-on will be priced below $200. Hop-on believes that jumping onto the Android bandwagon makes its phones competitive with other more expensive brands in the market today.
