Yep, Movea’s Gyration Air Mouse will be available very soon for retail. The hand movement you see on the picture isn’t because the model is practicing spells and wand movement from Harry Potter, it’s because the Gyration Air Mouse works on air, literally.
Microsoft’s new BlueTrek technology’s got nothing on the Air Mouse if working on any surface is what you’re primarily concerned with. Weighing in at just 4 ounces, you can wave the mouse around mid-air and flick through presentations with bravado—you’re not tied down by a solid surface any longer. And, since it has a 100 feet range, it can even work through walls! It connects wirelessly to your computer via an RF USB unit. The Gyration Air Mouse will be available by the beginning of October for US$99.99.
