This comes off as no surprise to me—Google co-founder Sergey Brin expects a Chrome mobile web browser for Google Android handsets in the future. Although the Google Chrome and the Google Android were developed by two separate teams, having one parent company makes this, for me at least, inevitable.
Regarding Chrome and Android, Brin says, “We have not wanted to bind one’s hands to the other’s,” but all the same, Android handsets will be carrying a version of the Google Chrome in the future. The first version of the Android will use another Webkit-based browser, but I guess it’ll be replaced with the Chrome in due time. Good thing Google is working on ironing out those crooked terms in the Chrome’s EULA indicating that Google owns the copyright, in perpetuity, of every single blog post and email we publish and send using the browser. Otherwise, as much as I liked its speedy response, I’ll never use the Chrome again, whether it be the web or the mobile version.
