Here it is, folks, the very first of what seems to be a press pic of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic or what we, erm, affectionately call the Tube. If you’ve forgotten what the Nokia Tube is all about (highly unlikely), it’s a full-faced touch screen phone; the kind that’s been cropping up a lot lately (no surprises there).
And, since there’s a press pic floating around, it only means one thing—the launch is definitely soon. Earlier this month, it was reported that the Nokia Tube will be seen in the UK by October 8 and I called “highly-unlikely.” However, it seems that the launch date is even sooner that the eighth—it’s on October 2. I don’t mind being wrong if it means we get to see the Tube sooner, although when we can have it in our grubby little hands is yet to be known!
