Firefox Mobile Concept Video

Yes, Firefox is really coming to mobile devices. Firefox Mobile (codenamed Fennec) is still in the experimental stages and it’s not yet known when it’ll become available to the masses. In fact, there still isn’t a working demo available of the actual browser itself, but this demo of a mock-up user interface shows quite a promising future for Firefox Mobile.

Posted by Aza Raskin, Mozilla’s Head of User Experience, the video shows what Firefox Mobile could look like, although some of what’s shown may look different than the specs on the final product. The Firefox Mobile browser is designed for touch screen devices, although it’d work non-touch screen ones as well. Based on the mock-up user interface, the browser focuses on multi-window browsing, navigation controls on the sides of the browser, and search bar function among others.
