Epoq EGP-PP01 prides itself in being the world’s first phone that’s built-in with a video projector. I could think of many reasons why such a feature could be useful; from classroom and boardroom presentations, to a night watching movies with friends.
The Epoq EGP-PP01 is integrated with a pico projector that projects images and videos with a 640 x 480 pixels resolution. The image that could be displayed can measure up to 30-inches in size. Unfortunately, for some reason, manufacturers thought it apt to play the copycat and slap a carbon copy of the iPhone’s UI onto the phone. In fact, according to IntoMobile, the Epoq EGP-PP01 even uses the animation shown by the iPhone when taking pictures. Aside from the projector feature, the GSM phone has a 1.3MP camera and can project a movie of up to 2 hours straight. You can grab the Epoq EGP-PP01 for US$549.95 here.
