In typical Apple fashion, an independent developer filled in the gaps of what the iPhone should have had in the first place. Perhaps a more minor annoyance compared to the lack of copy and paste is the lack of landscape virtual keypad on email.
You got to wonder why there’d be a lack of landscape keypad on a feature where typing is of the essence, but it’s pointless thinking about that now. App developer, Mike Schneider, creates a fix in the form of TouchType. Just download it from iTunes for US$0.99, open the application to reveal a landscape keypad, type an email, and then send. As easy as that. Great news for people with huge hands and those who prefer two thumb typing.
