While the mini-notes are probably getting the most coverage, the Computex event in Taiwan does have other devices presented by their respective companies. An earlier version seen during Mobile World Congress 2008 in Barcelona, the E-TEN Glofiish X900 Smartphone was among those showcased.
The E-TEN Glofiish X900 Smartphone runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional platform like E-TEN’s other new Glofiish smartphones. This Glofiish handset has 3GB connectivity with HSDPA support and a finger touch user-interface that, according to MobileBurn, resembles the HTC TouchFLO. Icons and visuals used are given the 3D effect and are generally finger-friendly, although I don’t think using a stylus would be a problem. We’re still waiting for the Glofiish X900’s full specs, pricing, and availability; but so far, the device looks good.
