The first thing you notice about the Canon ES30 Selphy Printer is how it looks. I did a double-take at first glance. I was not 100% sure that I was actually looking at a printer – looked more like something of a white modern day boombox. However after closer inspection and getting time to read the specs, it seems that the design of the Canon SELPHY ES30 is very deliberately fashioned around portable technology like boomboxes because it is supposed to be so compact, you can take it anywhere. Connects via Memory Cards, Bluetooth and Direct to Digital Camera
Connectivity options abound with the Canon ES30. It accepts up to 20 different types of memory cards, of which you can view the contents on the large LCD screen on the front panel. Being a photo printer, it’s obvious that it connects directly with digital cameras. The Canon ES30 also can receive photos via Bluetooth (optional feature), which means that photos from your mobile phone can become tangible memories in seconds.
Photo Quality and Speed
It’ll take around 55 seconds for you to get a 4″ x 6″ photo printout, but the results are almost lab quality. DPI is 300 x 300 with gradation at 256 levels per color.
