ModeLabs Group recently released what can be recognized as today’s thinnest Bluetooth headset—the Bluetrek Metal. This product is a part of ModeLabs’ line of Bluetooth devices including the Bluetrek Bizz headset released earlier this year.
Bluetrek Metal takes on a 4mm thickness form factor through the use of (if you haven’t guessed up ‘til now) metal. In spite of the material used, the Metal weighs in at merely 5.5 grams. This headset was conceptualized in an attempt to design an innovatively sleek and ultra-thin device. The battery drains up after five hours of talk or within 7 days of sleep mode. The Bluetrek Metal Bluetooth headset will be available in France and the rest of Europe this June 2008. The rest of the world (errr, that means “usâ€) should follow suit.
