It’s no secret by now that the BlackBerry Storm was released in a bad light with an operating system that was either not ready for public use or just unfortunately buggy. Complaints flooded the Internet (and I’m sure, telcos’ customer service departments) and were, at least, heard.
Over the course of a few weeks since its release, unauthorized leaks of OS updates came up and appeased the raging Storm owners. We informed you recently of the 4.7.0.76 OS leak, but if our American readers would rather not risk their phones, then they can now grab Verizon’s 4.7.0.75 OS update either through the computer or through over the air downloading. From what I’ve heard, it’s nowhere near perfect, but it’s certainly better than the pre-installed OS of your beleaguered BlackBerry Storm. Oz folks, should be getting their Storm from Vodafone just about now. Do inform us how your handset us treating you.
