Honestly, when first pics of the BlackBerry Javelin came out, I wasn’t very thrilled about it. We all know the specs are ho-hum, and the blurry images did nothing much for it. As more details emerge though (along with clearer photos), I can say that it’s not so bad after all.
I mean sure, it still doesn’t have 3G, but I guess this is targeted towards a market that doesn’t need or isn’t interested in using the high speed connection. It will be perfect for emerging markets as well. The BlackBerry Curve 8900 otherwise known as Javelin was recently reviewed by BGR in a good light. The build of the phone itself was heralded and its screen which looks very much like the Bold was praised for being an even “denser, crisper, and sharper display.” Even the keyboard and the chrome bezel got plus points for the reviewer. In spite of the positive review though, your purchase of the BlackBerry Curve 8900 depends on whether you need 3G connection or not.
