Things moved quite fast regarding the BlackBerry 9000, now officially named as the BlackBerry Bold. Rumours have now been confirmed and we all pretty much know now what the Bold is made of. But who’s the lucky carrier to get it first?
In the USA, AT&T has just confirmed to PC Mag’s Sascha Segan that it’ll be the first carrier to offer the new BlackBerry Bold. AT&T’s network allows users to enjoy the handset’s 3G capabilities in the US as well as abroad, even Japan and South Korea. The BlackBerry Bold won’t be an exclusive AT&T smartphone though—it’ll eventually roll out (this original 3G and the 3G-less variants) on other major carriers in the USA.
