At the Digital Summer ’08, the folks at the Belkin stand presented something completely new—the Belkin GoStudio. While similar devices of the past are mere low-tech recorders, the GoStudio is specifically designed for podcasters, although even old school journalists could benefit from it. The device is compatible with various iPod versions and is equipped with a built-in microphone offering “superior audio quality.â€
With the ability to record high-quality audio, Belkin GoStudio is the perfect replacement for traditional computer peripherals with the same purpose and functionality. Better yet, the recorded audio can automatically be published in iTunes when docked. Aside from the built-in mic, the device is also equipped with a speaker for playback, batteries, and dual XLR. The Belkin GoStudio will first roll out in the UK on the autumn of 2008 for approximately AU$156.
