Many noise-canceling headphones are beyond the reach of the ordinary, not-so-affluent consumers. Audio Technica’s ATH-ANC3 is one option that costs only US$100 which, although not exactly cheap, is affordable enough for active noise-canceling headphones.
The review by CrunchGear praised Audio Technica’s ATH-ANC3 headphones for performing well for its price range. It features only 85% noise cancellation compared to other brands which completely block the noise out, although according to the review, that particular features “works pretty well.” The headphones are at their best in cars rather than in airplanes, although they work both ways. The small headphones fit into the ears perfectly, and with the addition of three earplug sizes, you can choose which one fits your ear the best. One of its great features is that while its battery lasts only 50 hours, the headphones work as any other normal headphones without the noise-canceling feature.
