Finally, the Asus Eee Top PCs are detailed officially by the company. The computer was apparently recently offered for pre-order in the UK, but official info appeared only now. And yes, like what we’ve been hearing for quite some time, the all-in-one PCs feature touch screen panels.
There will be two models available for consumers – the Asus Eee Top ET1602 and Eee Top ET1603. There’s not much difference between the two except for very minor ones including a more powerful ATI Mobility Radeon HD3450 for the ET1603 giving its graphic capabilities a bit more oomph compared to its sibling. Otherwise, the two models share identical features including a 15.6-inch screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, 1.6Ghz Atom CPU, Wi-Fi 802.11n, 1GB RAM, built in 2 x 4W Hifi speaker + SRS, 1.3 megapixel camera, and pre-installed Windows XP.
