For all the mobile geeks out there, be informed that the already-portable Asus Eee PC 901 just became more portable. Asus Eee PC has a new feature but thankfully, the company isn’t bundling it as a new type of computer that’s separate from the ones already in the market.
Starting October of this year, all Asus Eee PC 901 netbooks that will be sold in the market will come integrated with 3.75G connectivity. The 3.75G High-Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA) Eee PC connection promises 7.2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds. It still has WiFi access, but now you can also use it where 3.75G coverage is available. There’s no news whether the new feature addition will cause an increase in the price of the ultra-portable, but here’s to hoping that doesn’t happen.
