Who ever knew we’d see the Asus Eee PC 901 so soon? Just a bit after the official release of the Eee PC 900, DigiTimes is reporting that Asus will be releasing an updated version of the 8.9-inch notebook. The Asus Eee PC 901 will basically have all of the Eee PC 900’s specs plus a few modifications.
The most important upgrade of the Asus Eee PC 901 is the Intel Atom processor which was also officially launched this year. Of course, this is bolstered by a few additional specs including the first Bluetooth module on an Eee PC, metal borders on the touchpad, and metal alloys on the hinge and keyboard. And yep, the mods don’t come cheap–the expected price for the Asus Eee PC 901 is just below AU$683.
