Apple Readies Employees for iPhone 3G Release

Cupertino is prepping for the iPhone 3G release on July 11 and how else to start readying for that fateful day but to train retail store employees on what to reply when customers ask questions.

Apple put together 17 questions consumers are most likely to ask about the iPhone 3G and prepared canned responses for employees slated to be on the front lines of the smartphone’s first day release. And, guess what—aside from a few select questions, it seems all we’ll be hearing are hedges including the oh-so-eloquent responses “Not that I am aware of,” “I don’t have any details…,” and “…don’t have any information.” Although the leaked FAQ was for stores in the USA, I reckon it’s the same for the 22 countries as well.
