Among the glut of accessories Apple announced along with the new generation of the iPod Nano and the iPod Touch are the In-Ear Headphones. The Apple In-Ear Headphones, unlike its counterparts that cost hundreds of dollars, are priced only at $79.
The Apple In-Ear Headphones focus on sound isolation and audio performance and have built-in tweeter and woofer. Integrated with the mic on the control capsule along the cable are three buttons that lets users control video and audio playback as well as adjust the volume. Unfortunately, the control capsule only works when the headphones are used with the newly-announced iPod Nano 4th Gen, iPod Touch 2nd gen, and the 120GB iPod Classic. The Apple In-Ear Headphones ship with three silicon ear tips, a carrying case, and a cable control case.
