Altec Lansing Launches Expressionist BASS High-Performance PC Speaker System

Altec Lansing recently launched a two-piece PC audio called the Expressionist BASS which the company claims is the industry’s first 2.2 desktop speaker system. What sets the Expressionist BASS apart from any other speaker system is that these ten-inch cones are integrated with 4-inch subwoofers.

With the built-in subwoofers in place, there’s no need for a separate device, so you can save space. Aside from the built-in subwoofers, there are also separate 1.5-inch drivers and an auxiliary input for media and MP3 player connection. Because the Expressionist BASS requires too much power though, they can’t be powered via USB and entails the use of an AC adapter instead.

The Altec Lansing Expressionist BASS high-performance PC Speaker system is shipping on October for a retail price of $129.95.
