We’ve already shown you the probable form factor of the 3G iPhone. A bit bulkier than the first-gen version, it’ll sport rounded edges and a curvy back along with a front-facing camera and a redesigned speaker. However, it seems that its form will not be the only physical alteration of the second gen device.
According to new rumors circulating, the 3G iPhone will be available in three different colors, perhaps to provide variety to its customers that encompass all sexes, races, nationalities, and socio-economic standings. It seems that aside from the traditional black iPhone, we might also be seeing a silver one and a deep-red/maroon/dark rose one as well. We’ll have to wait until June 9 before we can confirm anything, but if it turns out to be true, then I believe Apple made the right decision—a little variety goes a long way.
