For those who don't know, the O2 XDA IIi is one of the most powerful Windows Mobile based PDAs available, it's an enhanced version of the popular Xda II and is a personal organiser and a GPRS mobile all-in-one. With tri-band coverage for roaming to the USA, a 1.3 megapixel camera for taking high quality pictures there and then, and Bluetooth for use with your laptop computer or Bluetooth headset, O2 Xda IIi is a flexible and sleek device. Use the integrated Wireless LAN for high-speed internet access.

Everything you need to access the internet is already in place on the O2 XDA IIi. No wires, no add-ons required. It's so easy to use. No need to change your email address. Just put in your O2 SIM card, click and you are surfing.

The dimensions of the O2 XDA IIi are 69.9 (W) x 130 (L) x 19.9 (T) mm approx. 200g. Basically the same as the O2 XDA II, except for changes to the digital camera facsia.

The O2 XDAIIi is nice to look at, and nice to hold - just make sure you do hold it. Slippery little bugger!

DOWNSIDE:
Apart from being slippery, it is also a little bigger than most modern mobile phones. But then, if you want a big screen ...
The camera really needs ideal lighting conditions to take good pictures, but then this is a PDA, not a camera!
The connectivity options appear to interfere with each other from time-to-time: if you are syncing to a PC via bluetooth, you often won't subsequently be able to start GPRS or wireless connectivity without a reset.
You have to be careful not to run down the batteries - there is a significant risk of losing everything. If you synchronise with a PC regularly, this is not such a big deal, but the initial set up is still a bit of a pain. For me, the main battery can last through about a day-and-a-half of normal use.
Using a bluetooth headset with the O2 XDAIIi will result in an echo for the person on the other end, but then I understand that this is the fault of the bluetooth headset, not the O2 XDAIIi.

UPSIDE:
Being able to carry a synchronised copy of my calendar and tasks with me wherever I go.
Being able to get email and access the internet wherever I go (I am hanging out though for wireless broadband access for PDAs. I tried Skype for Pocket PC to make my Pocket PC into a mobile VoIP phone - a lot of drop outs and static on GPRS.)
Features like being able to make notes during a call which is automatically linked to the call in call history.
Generally, lots of great features.

OVERALL:
The features far outweigh the downside. Most of the issues in the downside are relatively easy to get around.
