Pull both ends at the SAME time. Pulling only one end at a time could lead into a tangle. This can be fixed easily, but can be avoided by pulling BOTH ends at the SAME time.

nice little cable to chuck n ya briefcase or bag, wont get cluttered. other that its a USB cable. downside was the data pins are a slightly shorter than my original usb cable. This caused me some concern because the silicone case on my Imate jam was blocking the connection, couldn't work out for a while what the problem was.

not a super heavy duty cable but seems like it will do nicely and the housing is quite strong.

Very nice little device, works well. It's not super robust, but that's because it's nice and small. Great for notebook use - I carry this one around, and leave the one that comes with the PDA plugged in at work. I've cut the time spent fiddling with cables by half - bonus!

Just received the cable today.
What a neat idea for the anal retentive , no more cable ties!!
The cable pulls out to its full length without any fuss and retracts just as easily.
Highly recommended
