However, a piece of scotch tape/masking tape is very useful to remove minor lints and fingerprints that are left on the silicon-adhesive coating.
Smoothness The Mr.Gadget screen protector is bubble-free when it is applied completely. Its glossy finish highly simulates the texture of the original LCD screen.
The Mr.Gadget screen protectors use CrystalClear technology:
CrystalClear screen protectors are designed to provide the highest transparency for applications where light diffusion is not tolerable. Many PDAs do not have strong backlighting and therefore the attached light source may be too dim to use with GlareFree screen protectors. CrystalClear allows the attached light source to shine through while the surface layer protects against abrasions from the stylus.
CrystalClear offers a smooth and crisp writing surface similar to the original PDA screen. The hard coating is highly durable and protects the original screen against all kinds of scratches and abrasions from keys, coins and other sharp objects. CrystalClear feels and looks like the original screen and is highly transparent. Users who prefer the touch and feel of the original screen will choose CrystalClear.
How to install your MWg Zinc II Screen Protector: Step 1: Clean the mobile phone screen screen surface thoroughly to ensure that there are no dust particles, fingerprints or other contaminants. Make sure to finish with a lint-free dry cloth so that the surface is fully dry before you apply the protector. (Oil or wet particles are difficult to remove when trapped between the protector and the screen.)
Step 2: Remove a portion of the screen protector's plastic backing from the top down. Be careful not to touch or expose the underside of the screen protector to dust or fingerprints.
Step 3: The screen protector is precision cut to fit the phone screen. For a perfect fit, align carefully the screen protector along one edge of the phone screen (I would recommend the top right hand corner as that is where you will be tapping a lot), and make sure that it is square against the edge. Slowly peel off the rest of the backing and brush down on the screen protector with a dry cloth to allow it to cling to the rest of the screen.
Caution: The screen protector clings to dry surfaces and will attract dust when exposed. Please try not to remove the screen protector from the dust-free screen too many times to avoid dust particles from clinging on the underside of the protector.

Additional Note: If you do get bubbles, do not panic. Simple use your stylus and lightly push bubbles to the side. The end result should be bubble free.
