Reviewed By: Adam Ruxton on 17/03/2009 This leather case is by PDairIT - it has a firm magnetic clip on the front. On the back, the metal belt clip is covered by leather and is riveted to the case, making it very secure. The clip does not rotate, therefore the PDA sits on its side in a landscape fashion on your belt.
The ends of the case are black elastic mesh - not covering the whole end, but probably about 2/3 of the side, with a small gap at the very bottom. It allows the face of the case to be pulled apart to more easily slide the MWg Zinc II in and out. Although a useful feature, time will tell how well the elastic lasts.
The fit is spot on - the MWg Zinc II is snug in the case, but as the sides seem to be made of cardboard I would not recommend dropping it to test how well it will protect your PDA. The bottom of the case has a hole in the middle to allow you to push the MWg Zinc II up out of it. I have my Zinc II face inwards when wearing it, and although that means the volume and quick launch buttons face downwards (ie where the hole is) it doesn't seem to be a problem when pushing the Zinc II out of the case.
Overall I'd say it is a solid case for those who want a leather feel. The only thing is the elastic sides that may become a problem further down the track, but even if this was the case the clip will still hold the case together firmly. 4 out of 5.
