Okay. I\'ve used this charger for a month. The packaging says it\'s for various Nokia or other phones. Don\'t be fooled. It works wonderfully with my HTC Desire. Google smartphone cup holder (a Lifehacker link), and follow their instructions, coupled with this charger, are just perfect for those trips with GPS and music. Highly recommend this, it\'s cheap ,I cannot ask for more from a charger.

After realising my cheap $5 charger couldn't keep up with the battery drain while using my HTC Desire as a GPS navigation device, I tried this one and I'm happy to say it does the job. The phone shows "charging (AC)" in the settings, not the lower power "charging (USB)". The battery now gains charge while GPS navigating. Before the phone was going flat when using the cheap charger.

Hmmm... what to say?

Well, it plugs into the cigarette lighter socket in the car and into the Desire, you drive to your required destination and the Desire has more charge in it than when you started your journey, even with screen, maps, gps and etc. turned on.

What more can I want or say? It does the business!
