My case only took two days to reach me in W.A.- fantastic service.
Installing:
Fitting the Desire into the case was simplicity itself, open the lid, place the device inside and close the lid again - my Desire was quickly nestled inside, with the all-round neoprene padding not allowing the merest a fraction of movement - very nice.
Security:
I gave the catch on the lid an extra squeeze to tighten it a little further before closing it - it closed very tightly and securely. My intentional "accidental" efforts to prise it open on clothes and etc. were all in vain - this case won't be opening and exposing the device without me wanting it to!
Looks:
While the case is naturally not quite as slender as some, due to the additional layer of padding inside, plus the catch and hinge on the two sides. Nonetheless it doesn't make the device overly large and cumbersome and it feel satisfyingly stronger in the pocket than on its own or in a slim-line case.
Using it:
The raised screen edge gave a few moments concern as I couldn't seem to reach the notification area of the screen top, until I realised what the top-left cut-out was for - d'oh! Cut-outs provide easy access to all controls, ports and the like and a screw socket in the back plate allows a (supplied) belt clip and connector to be fitted.
Conclusion:
This is an excellent case. Robust and nicely finished in satin black, it still compliments the device while providing a very high level of protection - I'd give it six stars if I could.
