I upgraded to the iMate JasJam in December and I'm very happy with it. Previous to this I had a O2 XDA IIi. Although it was stable and operating well, I wanted something a little smaller and the thought of an onboard keyboard was appealing.

Other great features about the JasJam is that it runs Windows Mobile 5, which at the time was the newest version of the Pocket PC operating system. It's menu system is somewhat easier to use. The new OS coupled with the jog-dial is a fantastic way to navigate around your little pocketPC.

Definitely one of the most stable and functional PDAs I've had to date. Highly recommend for the first time PDA owner or professional.

The big screen was a plus feature on my previous PDA, a HP iPAQ 6300 series, but for my purposes, the i-mate JASJAM is superior to the HP unit in other areas.

Phone audio quality (both send & receive), ringer volume, photo flash, photo resolution and overall size are major feature areas where the JASJAM outshines the HP iPAQ, in my opinion.

Furthermore, I was never successful, despite repeated attempts, to obtain a car charger for the HP iPAQ, whilst they seem to be readily available for the JASJAM.

The slilde out keyboard is handy, especially compared to iPAQ's fiddly and easily-lost clip-on extended keyboard.

I have yet to find a phone/PDA feature listed for any other phone that is missing from the JASJAM; it most definitely deserves to be called "feature packed" as it's got the lot!

Finally, i-mate maintains a user-friendly website that is chock-a-block with product information and customer support links specifically related to this model.

Buying my i-mate JASJAM has proven to be a very satisfying purchase!
