During the last few months, this software has gotten me around various places in Victoria with minor issues.

Roads are relatively up to date, a few more needed here and there, but that is easily solved with the fact that you can report errors on the map and system to TravRoute and they'll provide an update for it.

I've used all modes from manually putting in destinations, from searching POIs, using favourites, planning routes, and re-visiting recently driven destinations.
All works quite well but a little organisation of lists would have been great.

I haven't been able to customise my themes or voices and such yet, but it doesn't matter too much as the default theme looks very good; easy on the eyes.
The large buttons are great whether using stylus or fingers to key in data making it easier to navigate around.

Doesn't have all the best features such as Text-to-Speech, but very good with what it comes with.
Hanging in for some updates or new version with TTS.

Actually I think that minus the missing Text-to-Speech that CoPilot 7 is pretty good. I have been using it for around 2 weeks now and like it better than Travroute's CoPilot 6.

The interface is less cluttered with a better choice of fonts. The main route is now highlighted in a more subtle green than thick black line. Buttons are larger and easier to use especially if you find using a stylus annoying (like me).

CoPilot 7 is also faster than CoPilot 6 in terms of start up time and route calculation.

If you are an advanced user like David our previous reviewer, you will miss the customisation of routes and profiles. However if you want a simple-to-use GPS for your pocketPC / Windows Mobile device that will get you to A-B without much fuss, then I recommend CoPilot 7.

I am still hoping that they will release a Text-to-Speech soon, however that's not the biggest win factor for me.

What an unbelievable disappointment. The new interface is clumsy and clunky. There is no provision for smaller buttons for those of us who like to use a stylus instead of big finger buttons. There is no proper planning mode. Yes, the maps are prettier but what has happened to the roundabouts and slip lanes? The biggest defect is that text to speech with spoken street names has been removed despite this being mentioned as a feature on the packaging. It seems the designers have looked at other systems and decided to copy them rather than actually improving the product.
I have removed it and reinstalled version 6!
