Test Your Broadband Connection : How fast is yours?
One of my friends in a gaming forum had his broadband connection details in his signature, so I followed the link to test my own home broadband speed. The site is Speedtest.net.
I pay for a 512MB ADSL connection with Telstra so was interested to see that the download speed was way below that - I'll be on the phone asking some questions tomorrow.... See below.

I have cable internet from Optus and my speeds were:
~8000kb/s download
~256kb/s upload
It's just too bad I never reach that potential. Feels like I'm only running on 512kb/s.
