Well well well, it seems Apple
are trying to make inroads into Microsoft's domain by launching a public beta version of Safari 3 Web Browser
which can be run on Window's machines. According to Apple, it's the fastest internet web browser available delivery web pages twice as fast as Internet Explorer and 1.6 times faster than Firefox.
Ok, let's give Apple the benefit of the doubt and assume that these speed statements are correct, a more important question is "Is it secure?"
Apple's always bragging about having virus-free machines but Windows web-browsers are a whole new ballgame. Could this move into the Windows browser space do more harm than good?Who's game to try it out?
