Opera 9 for Mobile Devices : Zoom Zoom Widget

For years Opera has been the choice internet browser (why do I keep spelling that "browswer"!) for many due to its barebones approach. This has resulted in a lean and fast surfing tool that many have come to love.

Later this year, PocketPC and mobile device owners will get a taste of the new mini version, Opera Mobile 9. There are those who've already classified is as "iPhoneish" with the use of widgets (Widgets are small single-function web apps that will be available on the handheld without need to launch the full browser).

Two other neat features is the "grab and scroll" (finger scrolling) viewing and intelli-zoom.

Of course it wouldn't be complete without Opera's famous Small Screen Rendering technology.

The only bad news is that it won't be due till later this year :( In the meantime, pocketPC users it's back to Internet Explorer... *cry*
