Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Webcam: The VX'ed Webcam
Personally, I like the precursor "VX" rather than "i" (as in "i"Pod). It just sounds more gadgety and less selfish not to mention more masculine. So it's a good thing Microsoft used "VX" in their new webcam, the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000, rather than i-3000. Apple's legal arm would be all over it faster than you can dot your "i". Anyhow, it looks like Microsoft is going back to basics in their goal to be in every home in the world, or would that be every room in the world? They're bringing out these nifty gadgets with nice bells and whitles and the only thing missing is the big price tag. Twelve months ago you would have had to pay an arm for a webcam with these specs. Good thing the prices have come down as more and more people embrace the internet and what it can do!Features of the Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 Webcam:
- High Definition Photos
- Built-in Microphone
- Windows Live Call Button
- Automatic Face-Tracking Software

- Flexible Six-Foot Cable
- Video Effects
